WHO: David Lynch is an Oscar-nominated filmmaker known for the offbeat TV series "Twin Peaks" and strangely compelling movies like "Mulholland Drive" and "Blue Velvet." He's less known for his coffee. We wanted to change that.
WHAT: The 60-second ad went viral and generated all sorts of unprompted press from Mashable, IndieWire, AdWeek, and Vulture, and it blazed a path all across the internet. People couldn't stop talking about it, and sales went through the roof.
